Volunteer Opportunities

- 1 person ran the sound
- 1 person ran the lights
- 1 person ran the computer
- 2 people set up and served at the café
- 4 people were greeters
- 4 people were ushers
- 3 people served in the nursery
- 3 people taught Sunday School
- 1 person shared the message

Sunday Service Teams
Expectations for all team members:
- The desire to serve and to make people feel welcomed
- To be familiar and in agreement with Connections Community Church vision and values
FAST: Facility Setup Team
Time: 8-9am, 11-11:30am
Show up and set up welcome centre, café, family ministry rooms and theatre; relax and enjoy the service; pack-up everything by 11:30am.
FIT: First Impressions Team
Time: 9-11am
Welcome Centre: provide information and answers to all visitors.
Connection Café: make coffee and answer questions.
Greeters: open doors, welcome people and assist in making nametags.
Ushers: help people in the service to find seats and feel comfortable.
Family Ministry Team-12 person minimum, 4 per room
Time: 9-11am
Background check required.
A desire to serve children in the nursery, children JK-1st, or 2nd-5th class room
Familiar with check in process, security issues and lesson plans.
Multimedia Team
Time: 8:30-11:30am
Power Point: to put together the power point presentation including announcements, slides and video clips.
Lighting: knowledge in setting up and running our lighting system.
Camera: skilled in operating video camera.
We provide training in all areas
Worship Team
8:00-11:30am
Skilled musician or skilled in drama.
Active participation in rehearsals.
